Ancillary Text 1 - Digipak final edit

Here I have distorted the proportions of my inner album sleeves and cd to fit a template of a digipak to show how it would look in context.

The second of my magazine adverts features a similar style to the last with it's colourful warped lettering style which relates to the genre of the band which is psychedelia. However, I have used a different image of a 60's model which I have manipulated in the same way to make it look interesting. I have also used a different layout on this poster with the text and album image wrapped around the main image.

Here is the first of two possible designs that I will use for my second ancillary text - the magazine advert. My original design is influenced by psychedelic concert posters from the 60's through their use of a bright colour scheme and warped writing which I achieved by using Adobe Photoshop CS6. I then took a famous black and white image of actor Humphrey Bogart (the same image used on the cd) and changed its colouring and then posterized it to make it look interesting. I have then included a small thumbnail of the album as is typical of magazine adverts and included a 5 star rating from popular music magazine "Mojo" underneath it.
